Was Kurt Gödel smarter than Einstein?

 

Kurt Gödel and Albert Einstein were both incredibly intelligent, but they had different ways of doing mathematics and solving problems. Gödel's approach was often described as beautiful because his equations were elegant and clear. In contrast, Einstein's style was seen as chaotic and unpredictable.

When it came to writing equations on a blackboard, Einstein's method was disorderly. His lines were crooked, and he would suddenly jump to a different part of the board or even another board, which confused his students. Additionally, his messy hair would accidentally erase what he had written, making things even more complicated.

On the other hand, Gödel's equations were precise and easy to understand. He paid attention to details and even used different colored chalk, which some people thought was unnecessary. Gödel's calculations were logical and followed the rules of arithmetic.

Einstein, however, didn't always stick to the strict rules of arithmetic. He relied on intuition and was willing to question established ideas. For him, the result of adding two and two didn't always have to be four. He let his inspiration guide him, which made his equations hard to predict and follow.
