If programming is so easy, why are there so many unfilled jobs?
Because programming is not software engineering and most companies need software engineers, not programmers.
Think of it like this. One guy is a mason who can lay bricks perfectly. Another is a structural engineer who can design a bridge. You want to connect two cities separated by a river. Which job do you think is harder to fill?
